Cortona Week “Science and the Wholeness of Life” goes online in 2021: Cortona Pearls “Society in Flux: Choosing Paths”
To keep the flame alive in this critical time, the “Cortona Pearls 2021” Online Project brings the inspiring gift of a monthly event to your home: Illustrious speakers and guests from across the world share their insights about emerging themes from ecology to biodiversity, from political economy to democracy, from science to spirituality, from artificial intelligence to space science. Confirmed speakers are Br. David Steindl-Rast, Fritjof Capra, Joan Halifax, Stuart Kauffman, Francesco Grillo, Maneka Gandhi, Federico Faggin, Cliff Saron, Jörg Rasche, Shantena Sabbatini, Nora Bateson, Ernesto Burgio, Marinella de Simoni, Susan Eirich, Kamran Mofid, Christer Sodenberg, Tomas Bjorgmann, Franco Giovannelli, Gioia Lussana, Mauro Bergonzi.
Each 90-minute Pearl will consist of a 20-minute lecture followed by small group dialogs and a plenary session for Q&A. The program will be enriched by excerpts from our classic Cortona workshops and musical events.

Pearl 1 on February 27: Introductory message from Brother David Steindl-Rast, followed by a talk of political economist Francesco Grillo, and some musical Cortona surprises.
