David Steindl-Rast, aninterdisciplinary EXPERIENTIAL PROJECT has been created in St. Gilgen that explores the central themes of his thought, faith, and doubts. In addition, there is a wide-ranging accompanying program featuring concerts, readings, lectures, dance events, book presentations, and readings (program details on the website).

Information on Parking & Transportation Between the Europakloster and the Mozarthaus
There are plenty of parking spaces available at the Europakloster:
- Large parking lot across from the monastery
- Gravel parking lot across from the Hildegard Center
- Parking lot at the sports field*
* The Volunteer Fire Department will celebrate its 125th anniversary on July 12, 2026. At 9:45 a.m., a parade will begin at Feldmesse and proceed along Fürbergstraße. As a result, brief delays are expected when accessing the “Sportplatz” parking lot at that time.

In St. Gilgen, there are paid public parking spaces near the cable car, the Seepark, and the beach.
We have organized a shuttle service between the Mozarthaus and the Europakloster for July 12 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Please register in advance.)
A public bus runs between St. Gilgen (“St. Gilgen Bus Station”) and the monastery (“St. Gilgen Aich”) every hour (Mon–Fri) and every two hours (Sat–Sun). Please use the Scotty schedule search tool for exact departure times.
